The Mansfield Eagles Football Club was founded on November 7th, 1992 by the inaugural committee.

Committee - Ross Valentine, Trish Harper, Paul Kearney, Peter Coulson & Paul Tidswell.
The original name was the COC Eagles Soccer Association and was set up with the following objectives:
a/ To foster and encourage Christian based amateur soccer competition.
b/ To become an affiliated soccer association with the Queensland Churches Soccer Football Association - Brisbane Ipswich Division and to enter teams of registered players in the soccer competitions conducted by the QCSFA-BID.
c/ To improve the soccer skills of registered players and the standard of play of the association's registered players by organised coaching, training and/or practice matches.
d/ To foster and encourage sportsmanship amongst the association's registered players during their training and participation in the competition(s) conducted by the QCSFA-BID .
e/ To abide by the laws and rules applying to the competition(s) conducted by the QCSFA-BID from time to time.
f/ To encourage registered players to advance their individual level of soccer skills through additional training and participation in zone and representative teams which may be selected from time to time by the QCSFA-BID.
